The Holiday Inn Philadelphia – Historic District will be our “base of operations” for the 2007 Browncoat Ball. We have overnight rooms reserved at the hotel for Friday and Saturday nights at a special event rate. It will also be the location for the Banquet and Ball themselves.

Room Rate:

The special BCB rate is 139.00 per night, plus 14% Occupancy Taxes.

Guarantee Status:

Rooms can be guaranteed for late arrival on a credit card or by advance deposit. A guaranteed room reservation assures you a room regardless of arrival time. Any guaranteed reservations not cancelled before 6:00pm on the arrival date will be billed to the credit card or against the advance deposit.

Check-In/Check-Out:

Please note that the check-in time begins at 4:00pm and that the check-out time is 11:00am. The hotel will honor early check-ins on a space available basis, which is determined by the hotel occupancy the night prior to arrival. Upon request, the hotel will store your luggage if you are not departing from the hotel immediately after check-out.

Parking:

Current parking rates are $20.00 per car, per day for registered guests of the hotel. We have negotiated a $10.00 per car discount for people who are attending the Ball for Saturday Only. All parking rates are subject to change. Parking spaces are based upon availability. Vans/Vehicles over 6’6” Will need to find alternative parking. Parking is not permitted in the hotel’s driveway.

Airport Shuttle:

Lady Liberty Transportation provides shuttle service (for a fee) to and from Center City Philadelphia hotels, including the Holiday Inn Philadelphia – Historic District, and the Philadelphia International Airport.

Please note that reservations are not required for airport arrivals. They offer service from 5:30am to 12:00 midnight. Upon arrival at the airport, and after claiming luggage, passengers should proceed to the Ground Transportation Counter located inside each baggage claim area, and dial #27 from the free counter telephones for Lady Liberty. There also are counter personnel to assist you. The shuttle vans are waiting in an airport holding lot. The average waiting time is 15 minutes.

Early morning reservations for return to the airport (before 9am) must be made the night before by 9pm. All other reservations should be made at least 3 hours in advance. They recommend that a minimum of 2 to 2.5 hours be allowed between pickup time and flight time for domestic flights and 3 to 3.5 hours for international flights. The one way fare between Philadelphia International Airport and any Center City hotel is $10.00.

They allow two pieces of luggage plus one carryon piece per passenger. Excess luggage will be charged at the discretion of the dispatcher and the driver. All animals must be in a kennel with the exception of guide dogs.
