So I got the email and I have a question for those of you who are coming and/or have been to a previous ball.

Hi everyone!

I hope you're excited about this year's Browncoat Ball!  We have a great event planned for you, and can't wait to meet and greet all of our new and old Browncoat friends.

We need some information for your event badge.

Full Name
Date of Birth
Home Planet/City
Hair and Eye Color

Note: This information can be whatever you'd like it to be.  If you don't want to include your real name, then send over a Nick or Alias.  You can put your real date of birth, or perhaps something in the year 2460 range?  As for home planet or city, you can include your real hometown, or perhaps just say, "Persephone".

And hair and eye color can be whatever you'd like them to be.

So real or imaginary is fine by us!

We need this information by September 21st, but the sooner - the better!

Please include your real name in the email, if you're only going to give character information.

Thank you and see you soon!

Do most adjust the date to the timeline of the 'verse? This is my most important question because it would be cool to do it but I don't want to be the only geek that does it.

Do any of you actually pick a new name? Or do you go by your handle?

I am all about picking one of the planets, just to decide which one.

This isn't about being a conformist, just not being an anomally.

Thanks, Theresa

Most people take 2505 and reduce it by your age - for your birth year.

As for name, I made one.  But, lots of people used their own name, too.

And planets...hmm, I like Lilac.  Because it's stamp is pretty.  (Ship's Papers)

So we're going with before the Uni War? Instead of where the show lives? I hadn't realized that.

Thank you!

Neither had I. Undecided
At least now I don't feel so young. 2487 sounds a lot better than 2499. Tongue

Honestly, though, I say go with whatever time frame you'd like. After or Pre Uni War.  Smiley
