I wanted to make a few suggestions of things to do & see while you're in Charlotte. Especially for folks who are arriving early or staying after the Ball to explore.

The museum just opened earlier this year. It is a large collection of modern pieces from the Bechtler family of Switzerland. Most of the pieces have not previously been on public display.
Located in Center City Charlotte at the newly constructed Wells Fargo cultural campus. Easily accessible by light rail.

This is a great stop for racing fans. Charlotte is a hub for racing and speedway tours are available.

Comprised of multiple venues on an eight-acre wooded campus in east Charlotte. Features the 1774 Hezekiah Alexander Homesite.
